Ephesians 1:9-10 - “God’s Mystery Revealed”

In 7 places in Ephesians, Paul writes about God’s Mystery being his plan to unite all Believers together.

Verse 9 begins with the word “and”, which references back to verse three; “and”  indicates verse 9 is continuing the reasons to praise God.

Webster defines Mystery as "a religious truth that man can know by revelation alone, that we can only partially understand.  An additional definition is "not understood or beyond understanding".

Job 11:7 – we can not begin to phantom the mysteries of God on our own.

Romans 16:25 – many things have been hidden for a long time, but now through Jesus are being revealed to us.

Romans 16:26-27 – This is where we are engaged.  God reveals his truths to those who are ready to hear him.

In John – Jesus told the disciples there was so much more he wanted to tell them, but they were not ready.

John 3 – In a conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus tells Nicodemus he is not ready to know.

Ephesians 1:4-8  -  We may never understand why God chose us.  Because we do not understand does not make it untruthful

Revelations 21:1-2  -  Those who have hardened their hearts, those who won’t listen, will have no part in these two verses.
